For as long as I can remember, jewelry has been my most personal language – a way to capture light, memory, and emotion in something you can hold close. I created [Novalis] to share that language with you, shaped by a design education in Milan, a childhood steeped in the gem-cutting ateliers of southern China, and a deep belief that fine jewelry can be both exquisitely crafted and truly conscious.
Design: Where Two Worlds Meet
My hands are guided by the sculptural elegance of classic European training and the vibrant, forward-moving spirit of American and Asian contemporary style. Every curve of a bezel, every hidden detail in a gallery, is considered. I design for the woman who wears her jewelry, not one who keeps it locked away – pieces meant to move through life with you, from morning coffee to midnight celebrations. Clean lines, unexpected color harmonies, and a quiet sense of poetry define our collections.
A Promise to the EarthDuring my early years sourcing stones, I witnessed firsthand the scars that traditional mining can leave on landscapes and communities. It was a turning point. I vowed then to build a jewelry house that celebrates the brilliance of nature without taking from it. Every gem we use is lab-grown – diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds – physically identical to their mined counterparts, yet cultivated with a fraction of the environmental footprint. Our precious metals are recycled whenever possible. And because I believe luxury should never arrive wrapped in waste, our packaging is refined, minimal, and fully recyclable. Beauty shouldn’t cost the earth, literally.
